Deirdre Barnes

Deirdre started dancing at Denise Smith Studio at the age of 3. She had many accomplishments during her years of training including numerous scholarships won at various events including training at Randolf Dance Academy, Work Yourself Inside Out Productions, Be Discovered Talent Agency and a Muze Scholarship to Los Angeles from Blake McGrath for Dance Driven and appeared on the TV show “Dance Life”.

2007 Miss Capezio awarded at the Coastal Dance Rage Convention by their prestigious faculty, professional choreographers from Los Angeles and New York City seen on “So You Think you can Dance” and “Dance Life”. Blake McGrath, Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Chris Judd, Shane Sparks, Shannon Mather, Benji Schwimmer, Kenny Wormald.
Deirdre graduated from Canterbury Art High School with a Fine Art Certificate of Distinction, a Modern and Company Award and an Overall Excellence Award for the four years she attended.

Deirdre presently resides in Las Vegas actively dancing for Cirque de Soleil in the show “BELIEVE” starring Cris Angel. The show opened fall of 2008 and is playing at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, she will performing in the show until January 2010.
